Before you graduate, you will have been provided with many opportunities to increase your employability skills, making you highly sought after by employers and helping you secure internships and jobs.
Your relationship with Middlesex doesn't end when you graduate. You'll become part of a network of around 190,000 alumni who support and inspire each other. Our Alumni team will also make sure that you're kept up to date on the latest MDX news, invite you back on campus and let you know of great opportunities and industry networking events.
To be classed as an estranged student, you'll have to provide evidence to demonstrate the lack of contact. This can take the form of a letter from a doctor, teacher or other professional who knows about your situation.
The evidence will be assessed by Student Finance England and you will qualify if you're be under 25 and have had no contact with your parents for a least a year before you start your course, and/or you can show that you will permanently have no contact with your parents.
Drive Forward Foundation is a small London based charity offering great support for care leavers aged 14-26 to help them succeed at school and in life.
Become is a charity for children in care and young care leavers and Propel provides further information for care leavers wishing to progress to higher education.
Stand Alone provides support for people who are estranged from their family or a key family member and have a specific student support portal. We have taken the Stand Alone pledge meaning we are committed to providing support for you.
